Week 1 the 9th of March

My first day at Vision Factory was a great day to look back at. Via e-mail, I got informed that I am expected at 8:00 am sharp at the company. Even though the public transportation ‘metro’ is still kinda new to me I made it thanks to Google maps’.

When arrived at the company together with my colleagues and fellow students “Bart & Dominique’’ we had received a welcome by our supervisor and an introduction about the company and what our tasks for this first week are going to be depending on the department you work in, also what is important to take care of to have an easy start such as making an email for using at work. I have chatted a little with our supervisor, which also originates from Poland, and found out that I will have a hard time to express myself in my mother language on a business level. One of the other tasks assigned to me was reaching out to potential customers on linked in based on their level of education.Piotr my supervisor was super supportive and excited about speaking polish with me and said that it is a great opportunity to practice it as I have shown him my personal learning plan and explained that throughout the years my mother language became a less vital part of my life.
