Week 5 the 8th of April

This morning I have received further information and details on the upcoming event we will be working on with our team. It is also very educational since we will be focussing on collecting data on family offices in the European Union, and I had never heard about these offices and was assigned to collect data from Poland. I really appreciate my supervisor’s effort to help me integrate my mother language at the working space, since I can use some help and guidance and this is a very effective way from my perspective. So I started gathering the data asked from me and shared the google document with my supervisor so he can see my progress.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been able to see which macro-economic factors and policies are driving the business model of Vision Factory forward. For PLO1 I have decided to create a draft version of the model that I will hand in at the end of my 10-week internship, and ask my supervisor for feedback on it to see whether I am on the right path. See the screenshot below for the draft version.

I have asked my supervisor for feedback and will integrate it in the final version.

In the evening I have had dinner with my peers Konstantinos and Bart who also are stranded in the Netherlands, which was very nice. We had the opportunity to talk about the PLO’s and how everyone is progressing during their internship, and what everyone also struggles with. Dinner was gnocci made by Chris the guy in the middle on the picture below.
